MWM leader calls on Chairman Council of Islamic Ideology

Shiite News: A delegation of MWM under the leadership of Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan, Central Secretary Tanzeemsazi, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki met the Chairman of Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), Dr. Qibla Ayaz and discussed in detail the controversial issues relating to educational curriculum and Durood Sharif.

Maqsood Ali Domki said that promoting unity among Muslims and respecting the beliefs and ideas of all schools of thought residing in Pakistan are among the duties of Council of Islamic Ideology.

In its recent decisions, the CII has given importance to the teachings of different schools of thought by showing breadth and wisdom regarding Durood Sharif and curriculum.

He said that a misunderstanding arose due to the text written in a formal letter of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, which was cleared by the recent decisions of the Council of Islamic Ideology, which formalized the view of Shiite School of thought regarding Durood Sharif, and the previous decisions of the council regarding the curriculum of 1965 Dhaka session and 1966 Lahore session were ratified.

He said that as the representative party of Millat Jafaria, MWM Pakistan has always defended the constitutional rights of Shiite people on every forum with wisdom and arguments.

Chairman CII Dr. Qibla Ayaz said that according to the constitution, Pakistan is a Muslim state. The country’s constitution talks about the supremacy of the Qur’an and Sunnah instead of the supremacy of a particular jurisprudence, and the only interpretation and interpretation of the Qur’an and Sunnah is valid which is valid and recognized by Ahl e Sunnah and Ahl e Shi’a.

In the CII, there are scholars of all schools of thought, Shia, Sunni, Deobandi, Barelvi, and Ahl-e-Hadith, and our decisions are a practical expression of broad-mindedness and unity among Muslims.

MWM leader Allama Chaudhry Zaigham Abbas, Shamsuddin Kamil, and Secretary CII Hafiz Ikramul Haq also participated in the meeting.
