MWM leader calls on Minister Overseas, briefs on Zaireen issues

Shiite News: Central Leader and Head of Azadari Council, Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen Pakistan, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki met the Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Sajid Hussain Turi and apprised him on the travel difficulties faced by the Zaireen (pilgrims) and also informed about the details of the cases filed against the ‘Azadaran’ mourners in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The federal minister said that detailed discussions have been held with the ambassadors of Iraq and Iran on the problems of pilgrims and requested the Iraqi government to issue visas to one lac pilgrims. The federal minister has described the meeting with foreign ambassadors as encouraging. Allama Maqsood Ali Domki said that mourning is our worship. According to the constitution of Pakistan, every school of thought living in the country has religious freedom. The Punjab and KPK police have registered dozens of cases against the mourners, which is disturbing for the whole nation. He requested the federal minister to play a role for the disposal of these cases. The federal minister assured that he will negotiate with the home department in this regard.
