IG prison directs special arrangements for Azadari-e-Imam Hussain (AS) in jails across Punjab

Shiite News: Special instructions have been issued regarding the holding of Majalis and processions of Aza-e-Hussain A.S on the occasion of Moharram-ul-haram in all the jails across Punjab.

The IG Jail has issued a letter to all Superintendents Jail, and directed all the staff including Superintendents of Jail to remain on duty from morning to evening, no officer or employee will be sent on leave.

In the letter, it has been directed that a duty officer will be present at all times at the place of Majlis-e-Aza of Shias.

The letter said that a reserve force should be formed to deal with any emergency situation and the superintendent of the jail would also be in touch with the district administration.

The IG Jail has instructed that the medical officer, Zakirs and clerics for the Majlis from the jail itself, while all kinds of equipment will be sent to the jail only after a complete search.

It has been said in the letter that in case of any emergency, the Regional DIG will personally reach the spot.
