Shia, Sunni Ulema Jirga in Parachinar for fostering religious harmony

Shiite News: In order to create religious harmony and maintain peace in the district during the days of Muharram, a jirga of scholars was held under the leadership of DC Kurram, in which Shia and Sunni scholars participated in large numbers.

The Jirga was attended by scholars from different areas of Kurram District, Commander of Pak Army 73 Brigade, Brigadier Saqib Gulzar also participated.

Addressing the Jirga, Deputy Commissioner District Kurram, Wasil Khan Khattak and Brigadier Saqib Gulzar said that Muharram is a great month of the Islamic year and this month attributed to Imam Hussain (A.S) and teaches sacrifice and brotherhood.

He said that the scholars have been declared the heirs of the Prophets, so it is their responsibility to guide the society on religious, moral and social issues, so they should preach peace, brotherhood and brotherhood from pulpits and mosques in these days.

On this occasion, the scholars Maulana Munir Hussain, Maulana Syed Tajumal Hussain, Imam Masjid Maulana Muhammad Naqeeb and other scholars said that the month of Muharram is best and holy for every Muslim and Imam Hussain (AS) does not belong to any sect, but all Muslims and the world of humanity.
