For defending Islam, muharram sanctity should be observed

Shiite News: Under the auspices of Tehreek e Bedari e Ummat Mustafa (TBUM), a conference titled “Hurrmat-e-Muharram Conference” was held at Shaheed Hameed Bhojani Hall in Soldier Bazaar, Karachi, in which the followers of Hussaini School of thought, Shia Sunni Ulemas, Eminent Mashaikhs, Elders, Intellectuals, Journalists and peoples from various walks of life participated.
Maulana Abbas Shakri, Maulana Zaigham Abbas Rizvi, Maulana Jawad Noori, General Secretary of Heyyat-e-Aima Masajid and Ulema Imamia Pakistan, Mufti Mahmood Al Hussaini, Leader of Jamiat Ulema Pakistan Sindh, Maulana Manzarul Haque Thanvi, Mufti Fazal Hamdard, Maulana Zahid Hussain Hashmi, gave a special address at the conference.

Noha Khawan Shahid Ali, Noha Khawan Ibrahim, Sami Haider Chief Scout of Al-Mustafa Scouts Pakistan, Maulana Sheikh Saleem in charge of Jumma Madaris Education for the Book and Al-Hikma Karachi, Manzar Haider Leader of Butrab Scout Karachi, Ahmed Khan Leader of Tehreek Baidari Ummat-e- Mustafa (SAW) Sindh and other leaders and elders participated.

Speakers expressed the sanctity of Muharram and the elaborate on the message of Karbala. The conference was presided over by Maulana Ali Raza Muthari, the representative Markaz-e-Tashayyo Pakistan, Houza ilmiya Jamia Urwatul Wusqa.

Addressing the conference, the central leader of TBUM, Allama Ali Raza Mutahari and other speakers said that Imam Hussain (AS) preferred the death of honor to the life of humiliation and by attaining the status of great martyrdom, he presented the universal message of Islam to the world.

He presented the message in such a way and by enduring the oppression and persecution, he drew the line between right and wrong and set such a great example of truthfulness and martyrdom that he lived as a symbol of freedom, equality and the democracy for the world.
The speakers said that the martyrdom of the Prophet’s grandson was a great sacrifice for the history of humanity, it was not a personal or individual event, but it was the martyrdom of the entire holy family of Prophet (PBUH), which history can never forget.
