Police visit Imambargahs in DIK ahead of Muharram

Shiite News: On the direction of District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan, all the SHOs of Dera Ismail Khan visited the mosques on the occasion of Friday prayers and met with the scholars in connection with the arrival of Muharram.

On this occasion, a message of affection, brotherhood, and unity was given to all Muslims in connection with upcoming Muharram by the scholars, to ensure the establishment of peace and harmony in the society.

During the Friday prayer gatherings, all the scholars during their sermons taught all the Muslims to live in harmony and peace with each other and told that the incident of Karbala actually teaches us love, and self-sacrifice, under which we have to go ahead and protect the life, property, and dignity of all Muslims.

On this occasion, the scholars also told that we are united against the evil elements, including the enemies of peace and those who create disturbances in society, and we will fight such elements side by side with the police.

He appealed to them to spend Muharram in a peaceful manner and to cooperate with the Dera Police in all possible ways.
