Shiite News: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah invited Shia scholars to the Chief Minister House and discussed the overall arrangements including security measures and code of conduct during Muharram meetings and processions.
Chief Minister Sindh while talking to Ulema-e-karam said that he is grateful to all for maintaining communal harmony.
He said that as Muslims, peace, tranquility, and respect for each other’s beliefs are our responsibility. Murad Ali Shah said that the security arrangements for Muharram have been made in consultation with the scholars.
He further said that he has already issued instructions to clear the procession route. The scholars gave their suggestions which the Chief Minister assured to implement.
Provincial Minister Nasir Hussain Shah, Adviser on law Murtaza Wahab, Adviser on Religious Affairs Fayaz Butt, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Waqar Mehdi, Chief Secretary Sohail Rajput and IG Police Ghulam Nabi Memon attended the meeting.
More than 45 scholars and personalities who met included Allama Shahehah Hussain Naqvi, Allama Razi Jafar Naqvi of Jafaria Alliance Pakistan, Syed Razi Haider Zaidi of Shia Ulema Council, Allama Syed Baqir Abbas Zaidi of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen, Ali Hussain Naqvi and others.
