Shiite News: The second formal meeting of the newly elected central cabinet of Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen Pakistan was held at the central secretariat of MWM.
The central cabinet meeting was chaired by party chairman Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri.
Vice Chairman Allama Syed Ahmad Iqbal Rizvi, General Secretary Nasir Abbas Shirazi, Deputy General Secretary Saleem Siddiqui, Political Secretary Asad Abbas Naqvi, Central Secretary Organization Allama Maqsood Domki, Secretary Employees Wing Malik Akbar Hussain, Liaison Secretary Syed Mohsin Zaidi, Secretary Education Arif Ali Jani, President Majlis Ulema Allama Syed Hasnain Abbas Gardezi were also present. Foreign Secretary Shafqat Shirazi attended the meeting via video link.
The meeting discussed important national issues, including finalizing the annual anniversary of Shaheed Quaid. On the occasion of the anniversary of Shaheed Quaid on July 26, it was decided to hold a grand meeting in Islamabad titled “Mehdi-e-Barhaq”.
Suggestions and views were also exchanged to further improve and expand the performance of the party.
On the direction of Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, a working committee was formed for Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Punjab, which aims to take steps to improve organizational structure and functioning in different districts of Punjab.
The committee has been directed to complete the reorganization process within Punjab within three months.
Members of the committee include Allama Abdul Khaliq Asadi, Maulana Hassan Raza Hamdani, Hassan Raza Kazmi and Advocate Asif Raza.
Organizational matters of Azad Jammu and Kashmir were also discussed in the meeting. Hasnain Gardezi and Allama Maqsood Domki were also present on the occasion.
