Shitte delegation calls on Afghan consul general in Peshawar

Shitte News: The Peshawar-based Afghan consul general Hafiz Mohibullah met with Shitte ulema delegation in Peshawar on Wednesday.

During the meeting, Afghan consul general Hafiz Mohibullah has said that segregation among Muslim Ummah is a great menace, which is damaging for the muslims.

”For getting rid of this menace (segregation) and for the unity and peace in Afghanistan and Pakistan the religious organisations of both the countries should start a joint effort, as after interfaith harmony and peace, countries can attract foreign investment”, Afghan consul maintained.

The delegation comprising Allama Arshad Ali Naqvi, Allama Syed Alam Shah Al Hussaini, Professor Mulazim Hussain, Zawar Zaidi, Waqar Zaidi, Shahid Imdad Baig, Jalal Hussain Turi, while Sunni notables including Chairma Qaumi Aman Committee Moulana Iqbal Shah, Moulana Abu Bakar Madni, Haji Tariq Afridi, Mehboob Shah Haideri, Zahir Shah Safi, Haji Nikafullah and Zia Khan met Afghan consul in Peshawar.
