MWM holds protest against killings in Yemen and Kashmir
Shiite News: Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen, Karachi Division held a protest against the killings of innocent citizens in Yemen and Kashmir at Jama Masjid, Noor-e-Eman, Nazimabad, Karachi after the Juma Congregation, which was attended by the people of all walks of life.
The protest was addressed by Allama Mirza Yosuf Hussain, Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi, Allama Sadiq Jafferi, Allama Ali Anwer, Allama Mubashir Hassan, Mir Taqi Zafar, Sabir Karbalai, and others.
On this occasion, the speakers said that Yemen and Kashmir are regional issues but the severe violation of Humanitarian, Ethical, Legal, and Constitutional norms. The oppressed Muslims of Kashmir and Yemen are fighting the battle of Islamic dignity and preservation.
They added that the US and its alliance has failed to conceal Imperialistic conspiracies in the both region because of organized retaliation of oppressed nations and movements. In this situation, Muslim Ummah is needed to be united. Kashmir valley is burning, while Indian forces are trampling all citizen’s rights there deeming their duty. Settlement of this issue is stipulated with the citizen’s rights of the Kashmiri nation. It is the prime responsibility of the International Organization and the Rulers of Influential states to resolve this dispute according to the resolutions of the United Nations Organization (UNO). The Pakistani nation always stands with its Kashmiri brother. In this situation, Arab nations should play their role but they are on the back foot because they investing their all-out efforts to please Anti-Islam forces. The silence of the Muslim world on killings in Kashmir is raising so many questions. In this regard, Arab Countries in the OIC would have to review their goals to improve their image.
