Shia Community of Karachi observes the 12th Anniversary of the Aushra Blast on 28th December as a Black day

Shiite News: The draconian dusk of 28 December 2009 is an unforgettable memory for the Shia Community of Karachi when an explosion during highly attended Aushra Procession Claimed more than 50 lives of Azadaran e Imam Hussain including a number of Ahle Sunnah like son and niece of renowned Journalist, Secretary-General of KUJ and Bureau Chief of GEO Karachi, Fahim Siddiqui.

Despite the number of protests and legal efforts, bereaved families are still waiting for justice from the State of Pakistan but including Police, Rangers, and Judiciary all have been failed to unveil the mastermind of sad terrorism.

Although, law enforcement Agencies presented 4 takfiri terrorists in City Court after 6 months of the said incident criminal network took 3 of them out from the police custody by attacking the court premises while one of them was encountered by the Police.

Later on, in December 2012 Daily Dawn published a report in this regard in which, it was revealed that said case had been thrown in a cold chamber forever. But the Martyrs of the said blast are still alive in the hearts and memories of the Shia and Sunny Community of Karachi and they use to observe the Black day on this date every year like today.
