Imran Khan looks Lt. Gen. Nadeem Ahmed Anjum as new DG ISI

Shiite News: Deadlock regarding the appointment of new DG ISI seems to end as Prime Minister Imran Khan met with Corp Commander Karachi, Lt. General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum, sources said

According to media sources, official approval in this regard will be given in a few days. No official statement about the said meeting has not been issued yet but media sources claim that a notification for the appointment of Lt. General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum as new DG ISI is expected on Friday.

Reports say that Lt. General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum is only a Three Star General and he met with Prime Minister on Wednesday, he is expected to take charge of the new DG ISI within 10 days. On the other hand incumbent DG ISI, Lt. General Faiz Hameed will take charge of Corp Commander, Peshawar.

ISPR has announced important changes in the Pakistan Army on 6th October, in which the appointment of Lt. General, Nadeem Ahmed Anjum was included.
