PTI offers ministry to MWM MLA Gilgit Baltistan Kazim Meesam after PTI initiated process to form government in GB.

Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf made electoral adjustments with Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen in the election to GB legislative assembly.

Now, as the majority party, PTI has offered MWM’s newly elected member GBLA a ministry with important portfolio.

Sources say the PTI leadership offered Kazim Meesam either of education, planning and development or another department.

The GB-based PTI leaders say that their leader Imran Khan had recommended Kazim Meesam for ministry on merit.

However, Kazim Meesam has said that he would consults close aides in this regard and then tell the PTI of his decision.

Since PTI needs support from MWM, the former remains willing and ready to make it part of ruling coalition in the GB.

Earlier,Allama Raja Nasir said MWM would join PTI led govt in Gilgit Baltistan. Both parties contested election as allies.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan secretary general said that people of GB region have given verdict in favour of the MWM’s ally PTI which shows their trust in us.

He thanked people of Gilgit Baltistan (GB) for posing trust in MWM-PTI alliance.

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari further said that they had provided young leadership to Gilgit Baltistan to bring in much-awaited positive change.

He vowed that MWM would not go an inch back from its principled position on Gilgit-Baltistan’s legitimate rights.

He said that people of GB rejected those hypocritical demagogues whom people saw unveiled when they opposed provincial status for GB region.
