Specially, Shia Muslims instantly came out to participate in the funeral procession of Syed Askari Raza.
The funeral procession became historic because the heirs of the martyr led the mourners to Governor House to register protest.
They wanted to get the killers booked prior to his burial.
Hundreds of thousands of Shias marched on foot from Incholi and reached Governor House.
There, they they staged an epoch-making sit-in in the Red Zone area.
Their nightlong mourn and protest compelled the government to meet their demands.
Police had to register an FIR against the takfiri terrorists.
Finally, mourners offered his namaz-e-janaza in front of Governor House.
Then the funeral procession began their journey to culminate at Wadi-e-Hussain (AS) Graveyard on main superhighway.
His martyrdom and funeral turned historic in all respect.
Although people were celebrating Happy New Year night, lovers and followers of Imam Hussain (AS) were mourning the brutal assassination of Syed Askari Raza.
The martyr Askari had a clear message to Shia leaders and youths: Don’t refrain from helping innocent Shia prisoners. He urged all Shias to provide them all out legal assistance and look after their dependents.
