Eid-ul-Fitr being celebrated across Pakistan today

Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated across Pakistan today with religious fervour and enthusiasm.
Sunni and Shia Muslims observed fast during sacred Islamic month of Ramazan. And now they celebrate Eid at the beginning of month of Shawwal.

Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman on Tuesday announced the sighting of the moon for the month of Shawwal.

Most importantly, Sunni and Shia Muslims celebrate Eid at the beginning of month of Shawwal.

Furthernore, he announced Eidul Fitr across Pakistan on Wednesday. He told the media the committee received multiple testimonies of moon-sighting from the across the country.

Most importantly, Iran and many other countries are also celebrating Eidul Fitr today.

Meanwhile, elders give youngers cash and gifts as Eidi. 

Eidul Fitr celebrations mark the culmination of the Holy month of Ramazan during which Muslims all over the world observe fasting from before Fajr to Maghrib.

It is relevant to add that Muslims wear new clothes and offer special prayers to mark Eid.
