Pakistan government banned Pak Turk International CAG Education

Pakistan government banned Pak Turk International CAG Education in what appeared to express solidarity with President Erdogan’s Turkey against Turkish cleric Fethullah Gulen.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has added this fifth organisation raising the numbers of the banned outfits to 71.

The incumbent government has added this fifth organisation raising the numbers of the banned outfits to 71. The first addition after Brig Ejaz Ahmad Shah (retd) assumed the office of interior minister.
As soon as he took over, interior minister notified imposition of ban on Pak Turk International CAG Education.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government had first imposed ban Yemen-based Al-Rahmah Welfare Trust Organisation Dec 13, 2018.

Then came Balwaristan National Front (Abdul Hameed Khan Group). PTI govt proscribed it with the issuance of a formal notification on Feb 26.

National Security Committee had approved ban on Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) and Falah-e-Insaniyat Foundation (FIF) on February. But the interior ministry issued notification on March 5.
