Top Malaysia Shia Cleric Received Death Threats on Facebook

One of shia elders in Kedah Darul Aman state received death threats thru a famous social network service.

Acoording to ABNA correspondent in Malaysia, Sheikh Abdollah Ibn-e Hassan, One of shia elders who lives in Kedah Darul Aman state, received death threats on facebook.

Some unknown users on Facebook sent these threatening messages to the Sheikh under the name of “Malaysia Anti-Shia Movement”, which it causes certain concern among Shiites in the region.

In response, Sheikh Abdollah along with some Ahlul Bayt followers went to the police station to take a legal action against the threats.

They wanted the police to secure Sheikh Abdollah and Shia sites in the region with finding who the behind of the threats are.

Sheikh Abdollah said: Some Facebook users lie about Shias in their status and say the Shiites are terrorist.
