Shia Muslims celebrated Eid-e-Baisat across the world
Shia Muslims across the world celebrated Eid-e-Baisat in commemoration of formal announcement of Prophet-hood of Hazrat Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) on Rajab 27 as per Islamic lunar calendar.
Shiites celebrate the anniversary of that announcement like Eid festival because of their reverence and adoration for the last and final apostle of God Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) whom they believe not only Prophet of Islam but also Prophet of Humanity.
Shia Muslims also have unwavering faith that God’s apostles and prophets were born apostles and prophets but formal divine announcement made later and same was the case with Hazrat Mohammad’s Prophet-hood.
At the midnight between Rajab 26 and 27, faithful performed special prayers and recited Quran and offered special recommended prayers to commemorate the Eid-e-Baisat in Pakistan also.
Shia women also held special prayers and recited prays and Holy Quran to celebrate the Eid. Shia Muslims wore new dresses. Youngsters also got Eidee from elders.
Jubilant youths expressed their gratitude to God for the divine gift for them that God Almighty declared final-hood of prophet-hood through His last and final apostle Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH)’s prophet-hood for humanity.
Celebrations were also reported from Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, Bahrain, and almost all parts of the world where Shia Muslims are settled.
