Shia Muslims pay homage to Imam Moosa Kazim on martyrdom anniversary

Anniversary of Imam Moosa Kazim (AS)’s martyrdom is being observed around the world, including Pakistan with religious reverence.

Clad in black suits, Shia Muslims from all over Iraq and across the world gathered at the shrine of Imam Moosa Kazim (AS) in Kazimain near Baghdad in Iraq.
Reports had it that millions of mourners attended mourning processions and congregations in Kazimain alone.
Pakistani Shia Muslims held mourning congregations where religious leaders and scholars spoke. They highlighted the salient features of holy life of 7th infallible Imam, leader of Islam.
They criticized the despotic Abbasid monarch for their anti-people and anti-Islam role. They condemned their plot aimed at assassinating the infallible leader of Islam Imam Moosa Kazim (AS).
Similar gatherings were held in Najaf, Karbala, Samarra, Basra and other parts of Iraq.
In Iran, Shia mourners gathered at the holy shrines of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad, Bibi Fatima Masoomah in Qom, Ahmed Ibn-e-Moosa (AS) alias Shah Chiragh in Shiraz and at the shrines of other Imamzadegan.
