Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari has accused US administration and Saudi monarchy of genocide against Shia Muslims in Pakistan.

“Despite all odds, we will not tolerate any plot against the country, compatriots, Islam and Muslims,” he vowed, addressing the MWM convention where he was reelected secretary general for fourth consecutive term.
He said that efforts are being made for mainstreaming of takfiris. He turned down it and said nobody has right to pardon takfiris because they are accountable for killings they perpetrated and only the heirs of the martyrs would decide their fate.
He said unless takfiris apologize and repent, there is no question of pardon or amnesty. He said no Mulla or ruler can pardon takfiris. He said capital punishment be introduced against takfiris otherwise they would continue to kill others at will without fear of punishment.
Allama Raja Nasir said he would again begin observing hunger strike if the issue of missing Shias would not be resolved.
He said MWM had been pressing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister to take stern and concrete action to stop Shia killing in Dera Ismail Khan. He said government could not stop Shia killing even in a small city such as DI Khan.
MWM secretary general reiterated his support for genuine rights of people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
He said that MWM would observe martyrdom anniversary of Allama Arif Hussaini in a befitting manner and the mammoth ever congregation would be held on August 5 this year.
