MWM leaders condemn terror attack on Mufti Taqi Usmani
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen leaders condemned the gunmen attack on Deobandi cleric Mufti Taqi Usmani in Karachi yesterday. The cleric escaped unhurt and guard were killed.
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari and Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, secretary general and deputy secretary general of the MWM, condemned the attack saying that enemies of Pakistan seemed to have plotted to disturb Pakistan Day celebrations by this attack.
They said that enemies failed in getting desired results by warmongering and now they want to create internal tension on ethnic and sectarian grounds. They vowed that political and religio-political parties’ leaders would foil such nefarious designs of enemies of Pakistan through their unity and solidarity.
The MWM leaders offered condolences over the loss of life in the attack and prayed for recovery of the injured victims of the attack.
They and MWM Karachi leaders Allama Sadiq Jafari, Allama Mubashir, Nasir Hussaini, Mir Taqi Zafar and others demanded immediate arrest of the culprits involved in the attack.
