Pakistan is not party in Saudi dispute with Iran: Information Minister

Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has clarified that Pakistan disagrees with Saudi Arabia’s Iran policy and that Pakistan’s Iran policy is different from Kingdom’s policy.

In an interview with Aaj News programme Spotlight host Munizae Jahangir, he said, Pakistan respects Iran in high esteem.
“Pakistan has very brotherly relations with Iran. We respect importance of Iran. We are not party in Saudi-Iran dispute,” he said.
He made clear that Pakistan’s stance towards Iran is different from Saudi Arabia’s stance.
