Without including Houthis Yemen mediation not possible: MWM

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari has ruled out the possibility of resolving Yemen crisis through Pakistani mediation if Houthis are not taken on board.

He said that impartiality remains an integral part of mediation and excluding the legitimate stakeholder such as Houthi Movement (Ansarullah) and their allies, would prove partiality in favour of Saudis and their puppets.
“People of Yemen had already rejected Mansur Hadi Abd Rabbuh and Saudi Monarchy had imposed war on Yemen and has been perpetrating genocide in Yemen to re-install Mansur Hadi as President,” he said, adding that Saudi monarchy has no right to meddle into Yemeni affairs.
MWM chief made it clear that Pakistan’s own image and credibility would be put at stake if Pakistan takes sides and facilitate Saudi monarchy.
He advised Prime Minister Imran Khan if he is serious in mediation, then, all stakeholders of Yemeni dispute mainly Houthis and their allies must be included in the political process and transition to all-inclusive representative set-up.
