Protest demo against enforced disappearance of Shia notable announced

A protest demonstration is being held in Lahore against the enforced disappearance of Imamia Organisation (IO) chairman Raziul Abbas Shamsi on Sunday.

Mr. Shamsi has gone missing since October 25, 2018 and neither family members nor friends have been informed about his whereabouts. Therefore, the family has appealed to all the human rights activists and those whose relatives or friends have also been subjected to such mysterious missing must join their protest at Lahore Press Club on Sunday, November 11.
Several Shia Muslims have also been picked up and put under illegal and undeclared detention without any case against them.
