MWM supports Sahibzada Abul Khair Zubair in electoral contest in NA-227

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has announced its support to the Jamiat Ulema Pakistan (JUP) Noorani group leader Sahibzada Abul Khair Zubair in electoral contest for National Assembly seat from Hyderabad constituency (NA-227).

Syed Asad Abbas Naqvi, head of MWM’s political affairs committee, announced MWM’s support to him at a joint press conference at Hyderabad Press Club. Sahibzada thanked MWM over their support.
MWM’s Political Affairs Secretary said Sahibzada Abul Khair Zubair had played a cardinal role against sectarianism. He said the JUP-N leader has struggled against the terrorist groups who are enemies of Pakistan; therefore, MWM decided to support him.
“People such as Sahibzada Abul Khair Zubair must be elected to reach Parliament to represent Pakistani nation in real terms,” he said, adding that such moderate, pro-peace and anti-takfiri people should be elected to counter the plots of takfiris through Parliamentary forum.
