Jafaria Alliance chief and former Senator Allama Abbas Kumaili has said that Shia Muslims are not satisfied with the security arrangements adopted by the state authorities and the government for mosques, Imam Bargahs and religious scholars.

He expressed these views addressing a Ramazan-related event that Jafaria Alliance hosted at Imam Bargah Shah-e-Najaf in Karachi. Representatives from the trusts of mosques and Imam Bargahs including the trustees, of matami anjumans, scouts, of Imamia Students Organisation, Haiyat Aimma Masajid Pakistan, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Majlis Zakireen Imamia, Shia Ulema Council and Imamia Organisation attended the event.
They also demanded that foolproof security be provided to the sacred places and religious scholars and relevant authorities must ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity and water. They asked the government to overcome price-hike during Ramazan and also focus on elimination of terrorism.
