A senior Iranian commander has described Takfirism as a major menace threatening Middle East security, vowing due efforts to combat the movement.
Pointing to the Takfiri threat, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour further stated on Wednesday that such terrorist elements have made attempt at times to intrude into Iran from neighboring countries but essential measure are underway to combat them.
The Iranian commander also vowed to deliver a solid response to any act of sabotage by any foreign elements and said, “The IRGC Ground Force is fully prepared to defend the country’s territorial integrity under any circumstances and establish security.”
