AMIN-SHAHEEDI00Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has announced on Thursday that they along with Imamia Students Organisation, sets all to observe a historic Quds Days to express support to and solidarity with Palestinians.

“We appeal to Pakistani nation to come out on Friday Ramazan 26 to join International Quds Day rallies along with us and condemn the Israeli aggression on Gaza,” urged Allama Amin Shaheedi, Deputy Secretary General of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, at a press conference at Nishtar Park.

Ali Hussain Naqvi, Nasir Hussaini and other officials of the MWM were also present.

Allama Shaheedi reiterated his demand that the government of Pakistan should announce observance of Quds Day at official level. He said that it was not enough to do lip-service through formal statements but defenseless people of Gaza deserve much more.

“Iranian Parliament has decided to send parliamentary mission to Gaza but no such announcement came from Pakistani parliament. It is shameful that Pakistani legislature has not made similar announcement so far,” he said.

MWM official said that main rally of International Quds Day would be staged in Karachi. He urged people to largely participate in Quds Day rallies to vent anger against the illegitimate state of Israel and its supporters including United States.

“We also condemn the UN Secretary General Ban Kimoon for not taking punitive action against the Zionist aggressor. He has been enslaved by the Pro-Israel U.S.,” he said.

Allama Amin Shaheedi said that Israeli forces unilaterally imposed war on Gaza on the pretext that 3 Jews were killed. He said that 3 Jews were not killed in Gaza nor any Gaza-based party claimed responsibility for the killings hence there was no substance and logic in the argument of war on Gaza.
