Allama Shirazi says terrorism in Middle East aimed at weakening axis of resistance

Allama Syed Shafqat Hussain Shirazi, deputy secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has said that takfiri terrorist attacks in Syria, Iraq and Lebanon were aimed at weakening axis of resistance.

“Iran, Syria, Hezbollah and their allies are part of axis of resistance to the illegitimate state of Zionist Israel hence Zionists-ally U.S. and its Arab allies have invented the takfiri terrorists to take revenge of resistance,” he said speaking at a gathering of supporters held in Markazi Jamey Masjid Jafar-e-Tayyar Malir under the aegis of the MWM Malir chapter.

The MWM official further said that Tehran is the capital of the axis of resistance and Damascus is its fortress. He said that the enemies were trying to teach them a lesson for their steadfastness against the Zionists and imperialist powers.

“Iraqis joined jihad-e-kifai on a call from Ayatollah Sistani that is anm example of strategic depth of the axis of resistance. The latest developments in the Middle East may be seen as a prelude to the reappearance of Imam-e-Zaman,” he said.
