Allama Nasir Jafri says Nawaz lost right to rule after Taftan, Karachi terrorist attacks

nasir-abbas-presser-islmbd-10-06-2014Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has lambasted the PMLN government at the Centre and its allied government in Balochistan province for terrorist attacks by Taliban and its allied terrorist group Jaish-al-Islam in Karachi and Taftan respectively.

“It was duty of the Balochistan government to protect the lives and properties of Pakistani Shia pilgrims in the province but they failed to shoulder their Constitutional obligation,” Allama Jafari said speaking at a press conference at the MWM’s central secretariat on Monday.

He said that federal and provincial governments were well aware of the threat to security of Shia pilgrims in Balochistan province but they failed to chalk out a foolproof security plan to save them from terrorist attacks. He said that the Yazidi takfiri nasbi terrorists struck in Taftan near Iranian border and at Karachi airport was due to the PMLN government’s policy of talks with the terrorists.

“Military should bomb the terrorists and their hideouts from Quetta to Taftan to clear the route for people and for establishment of durable peace. Military should launch a countrywide operation to eliminate the terrorists because the government failed to take action against the terrorists,” he demanded.

MWM’s secretary general expressed condolence with the heirs of Shia pilgrims and the security officials who were massacred at Taftan and Karachi airport saying that they are all martyrs of Pakistan.

“Rulers have turned Pakistan into a security state. Now, self-deceptive talks with Taliban should be brought to an end formally. Tighten noose around the terrorists and their strategic partners. Nation will support the armed forces for their operation against the terrorists,” he said.
