MWM demands Pakistan govt to refuse assistance to Saudi on Syria
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has demanded of the PMLN Government of Pakistan to refuse Saudi monarchs any sort of assistance against Syrian regime.
“Pakistan’s Middle East policy always remained balanced and this balanced policy should not be changed in favour of the pro-Israel monarchies of Gulf countries,” said Allama Syed Shafqat Sheerazi, head of the foreign affairs and deputy secretary general of the MWM.
In his reaction to the AFP report about Saudi demand that Pakistan should arm the terrorists/rebels who are attacking Syrian regime and people through Jordan, Allama Sheerazi said that neither Allama Iqbal nor Mohammad Ali Jinnah favoured monarchies.
He said that Saudi Arabia and Jordan have always been proxies to either U.K.’s imperialism or the U.S.-led Western imperialism. He said that these countries have always safeguarded the illegitimate interests of illegitimate state of Israel who have grabbed Palestinians homeland.
“Friends and allies of Zionist regime of Israel have imposed a war on Syrian government and people for their unwavering support and help to Palestinians and armed resistance to the Zionist occupation. Helping anybody against pro-Palestine government and people is against the Pakistan’s Constitution and ideology,” he said.
In another statement, Allama Sheerazi condemned the terrorist attack on Iranian consulate in Peshawar. He expressed grief and sorrow over casualties in the attack. He demanded military operation to eliminate the terrorists.
