Zero point at Pak-Iran border Closed // Shiite News Exclusive
Trade gate between Pakistan and Iran have been closed on Thursday for indefinite period. According to the Shiite News Correspondent, Due to the closure of the zero point, existed at the border of Pakistan and Iran lying in Taftan area of Balochistan province, thousands of local labourers have been rendered jobless, said the Levis official.Â
The official said that Iranian border officials have shut down the zero point, a trade gate between the two countries for an indefinite period in reaction against the ruthless target killing of 29 pilgrims in Mastung on 20th September heading towards Iran for pilgrim of Imam Reza (as).
Reacting to the Mastung incident, the transporters have also suspended the Quetta-Taftan transport service demanding security to the passengers and commuters.Â
The Correspondent said that the Balochistan Government has failed to prevent the life of Shia Muslims in Quetta and more than 1200 Shia Muslims were martyred by the Terrorists of Taliban and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi with in a two years period.
