Martyr Allama Nasir Abbas laid to rest in premises of Shah Shams Tabriz shrine
Amid nation-wide protest and mourn, Allama Nasir Abbas martyred in Lahore has been laid to rest in the premises of renowned Islamic saint Shah Shams Tabriz in Multan on Tuesday.
His body was brought from Lahore to his native area Shamsabad, Chungi 9, in Multan where thousands of the mourners including the martyr’s family members had gathered. The coffin of the martyr was taken to Shah Shams Tabriz’s shrine via Ghanta Ghar and Hussain Agha.
Hundreds of religious scholars, Zakir-e-Ahl-e-Bait (AS) and noha khwan also participated in the procession. Noha Khwan recited nohas and the mourners beat their chest to express their grief on the loss of the eminent Shia scholar Allama Nasir Abbas.
Earlier, women and children had also gathered at Chungi 9 to receive the coffin of the martyr. They were raising the slogans such as Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS) and Ali (AS) Haq.
