Pukhtoonkhwa Government stops the MWM aid caravan at Attock bridgeThe “Peace Aid Caravan” of Majlis-e-Wahadat-e-Muslameen (MWM) Pakistan has blocked by the Provincial Government of Khyber-Pukhtoonkhwa at Attock bridge in the name of ongoing military operation against the Taliban terrorists.

 

Earlier, the peace Aid Caravan of Majlis-e-Wahadat-e-Muslameen (MWM) Pakistan was commenced from Islamabad to Parachinar on Tuesday containing the Medicine and food items on 10 containers for the oppressed people of Kurram Agency Parachinar.

According to the Shiite News Correspondent The biased provincial government has stopped the participants of the Peace Caravan at Attock bridge on force as the hundreds of Frontier constabulary and Police personnel have blocked the convoy at Attock bridge.

The participants of the Peace Caravan carrying the foods and medicine for the oppressed people of Parachinar were staged sit-in protest on the the motorway connecting the Punjab to Khyber-Pukhtoonkhwa province and blocked the and demanded of the government to allow them to move towards the Kurram Agency.

The Peace Caravan was led by the Majlis-e-Wahadat-e-Muslameen (MWM) Central deputy secretary general Maulana Mohamamd Ameen Shaheedi and Maulana Shabir Reza Bukhari along with the other 150 persons of the organization.

Majlis-e-Wahadat-e-Muslameen (MWM) Central deputy secretary general Maulana Mohamamd Ameen Shaheedi told the  Shiite News that Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has assured to allow the caravan to reach at Parachinar to break the besiege of Kurram Agency.

He warned that they would not abandon in front of state biased policies and if the government will not allow them to go forward then they will continue the sit-in protest at both routes of motorway.
