Four Taliban facilitators arrested for Raiwind suicide bombing

The law-enforcement agencies on Friday apprehended at least four militants for facilitating suicide bombing near police checkpoint in Raiwind Lahore which left 11 people dead and several others wounded. Banned Deobandi terroist outfit Taliban (Pakistan) claimed responsibility for the bombing.

Sources privy to the law-enforcement agencies said that the suicide bomber was identified as Naseeb Shah, who was residing at his uncle’s place in the provincial capital’s Badami Bagh area.
The intelligence agencies also detained four facilitators of the bomber.
On March 14, a suicide bomber blew himself him in Raiwind near police checkpoint.
DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf said the bomber targeted police personnel. The bomber tried to enter religious congregation before blowing himself up, he added.
Death toll hits 11
Death toll in Raiwind suicide blast reached 11 as another victim named Ramzan succumbed to injuries today while under treatment in a hospital.
On the other hand, security personnel have started hunt for the terrorists after completing geo-fencing of the area and short listing of the suspicious calls. The samples have also been sent to forensic laboratory.
