MWM demands judicial action against Maryam Nawaz blasphemous remarks
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen women wing has requested the apex court of Pakistan to take suo motu action against Maryam Nawaz, daughter of ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif, over her blasphemous remarks in which she equated herself with Bibi Fatima Zahra and her father with Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), the last apostle of God and Prophet of Islam.
MWM women wing’s secretary general Syeda Zahra Naqvi said that Maryam Nawaz hurt the feelings of all Muslims by her blasphemous remarks because Prophet of Islam is an infallible person and can never be equated with the worldly politician who has been ousted and disqualified for the public office by the judiciary.
Similarly, Hazrat Fatima Zahra is the infallible leader of women in Paradise and she too can never be deemed like a figure such as Maryam Nawaz who is defending her disqualified corrupt father.
It is relevant to add here that Maryam Nawaz’s blasphemous remarks evoked stiff protest from across the world. Pakistanis want Maryam Nawaz to apologise for the blasphemous remarks and must refrain from equating herself and her father with the infallible representatives of the God Almighty.
