Central President of Imamia Students Organisation Ansar Mehdi has said that Punjab government is involved in the enforced disappearance of Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi Advocate, deputy secretary general, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen.

Addressing the azadars after Zohrain prayers during Chehlum procession in Lahore, he announced, if Nasir Shirazi is not released, they would launch a vigorous movement against the government for release of Nasir Shirazi.
He lamented that on the one hand; takfiri terrorists assassinate Shia Muslims and on the other biased government put them behind the bars instead of taking stern action against takfiri terrorists.
Ansar Mehdi vowed to continue legal battle for release of Nasir Shirazi. He asserted that they would not bow to pressure of the biased Punjab government.
