MWM leader accuses Rana Sanaullah of emulating Umayyad tyrant Yazid

Shia Muslims staged a protest during Chehlum procession in Islamabad against the kidnapping of Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi Advocate, deputy secretary general, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen.

Speaking to the protesters, Allama Ghulam Asghar Askari has said that Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah was acting like Yazid, the despotic ruler of Umayyad dynasty, against patriot Pakistani Shia citizens.
He said that he and his cronies in the Punjab government have made mockery of law ridiculing the judiciary that ordered production of Nasir Shirazi but said violators of law don’t comply with the court orders.
Allama Askari said that Nasir Shirazi is a well-known politician and lawyer and he is known for his efforts for unity of Muslims and oppressed people of Pakistan. He demanded his immediate release.
