To express solidarity with Shia pilgrims, SUC to protest against Balochistan govt
Shia Ulema Council Sindh president Allama Syed Nazir Hussain Taqvi has announced that his party will stage protest demonstrations against Balochistan Government and Federal Interior Ministry because they failed to provide needed security to the Shia pilgrims from Quetta to Taftan.
He said that federal government and Balochistan government must provide needed security to the Shia pilgrims convoys forthwith so that they could cross Taftan border to enter Iran and then to Iraq via Iran to participate in the Arbaeen Walk from Najaf to Karbala.
Allama Nazir further demanded that Shia pilgrims who have stuck at Taftan on return from Iran pilgrimage should also be provided security immediately so that they could reach their homes without any further delay. Otherwise, he warned, Shia Ulema Council would stage protest demonstrations on November 3.
