Countrywide protest rallies marked solidarity with Rohingya Muslims

The supporters of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen staged rallies in all over Pakistan on Friday to mark their all out support to the oppressed people particularly Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar. The Youm-e-Himayat-e-Mazloomeen was held yesterday on a call from Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen.

MWM rallies were staged in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad, provincial capitals of all provinces of the country including Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and Peshawar, Gilgit-Baltistan, and also in Faisalabad, Multan, Parachinar, in many districts of Sindh province including Hyderabad, Thatta, Sujawal, Jacobabad, Larkana, etc. Rallies were also held in Azad Jammu and Kashmir under the aegis of the MWM.
On behalf of Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, a delegation of MWM comprising Malik Iqrar, Nisar Faizi, Allama Asghar Askari and Allama Akbar Kazmi visited the UN’s Pakistan mission and handed over a memorandum to register protest against Myanmar regime and fanatic Buddhist crimes against humanity over the persecution of Muslims in Myanmar.
In Karachi, Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi and Allama Maqsood Domki addressed the main rally outside Jamey Masjid Noor-e-Eeman. They condemned the perpetrators of the genocide against Rohingya Muslims and demanded an end to all this, punishment to the culprits and rehabilitation of and compensation to the victims. They also condemned the crimes against humanity in Yemen, Syria, Bahrain by the enemies of Islam who have imposed war on civilians directly or through their proxy terrorist groups and also state-sponsored persecution of oppressed Muslims in many countries.
