shiitenews quds rally iranThe Quds Day rally in Tehran has concluded with the declaration of a resolution calling for the destruction of the Zionist Regime as the foremost demand of the Muslims of the world.

The resolution called on the Muslim nations of the region, particularly Egypt, Tunisia, and Libya who have been experiencing Islamic Awakening and revolutions “to beware of the schemes of neo-colonizers and arrogant powers with vigilance,” IRNA reported on Friday.

The resolution further stressed that the only solution to the issue of Palestine is the destruction of the Zionist regime and having Zionists leave the occupied lands.

The statement further called on the rulers of certain Arab-Islamic countries that are complicit with the Israeli regime and have remained silent in the face of its atrocities to heed the fate of their fellow-dictators Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, Hosni Mubarak, and Muammar Gaddafi.

The resolution also warned Israeli regime to avoid any military adventurism in Gaza and Lebanon as such a move would cause Resistance Fighters of Palestine and Lebanon to leave them no safe and secure place.

The resolution also called on Muslims to rush to the aid of the famine-stricken people of Somalia.

The statement, issued on behalf of the Iranian nation, concluded that “any practical threat and aggressive move against the territorial integrity of Islamic Iran … would be met with a prompt, hard, decisive, and …response.”

The late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini declared the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan as the International Quds Day in August 1979, calling for international rallies in support of Palestinians and against Israel.
