Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi Urges Arab Nations to Stop Unrest in Ramadan

shiitenews ayyatulla makaram sheraziGrand Ayatullah Naser Makarem Shirazi has urged world Muslims to avail the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan and pray for all Islamic Nations.

 “Muslims are expected to pray for all Muslims in the Islamic World and do not limit their pray for their families and relatives,” said the Islamic Jurisprudent Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi.

“People in Ramadan should pray for Muslims nations especially the oppressed nation of Bahrain and ask God to help them solve their problems.” 

The grand ayatollah also asked Muslims to put their conflicts aside in the holy month of Ramadan, pointing to the ongoing political crises overwhelming some Arab Muslim countries. 

“Fasting does not just mean that we should abstain from eating and drinking,” said the seminary instructor stating that all of the human existence should fast in the holy month of Ramadan.

 “We should eschew from lying, insulting and backbiting,” said the grand Ayatollah. 

“Fasting has an educational effect and can revive the piety in human being,” Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi concluded.
