Panama Papers case verdict is divine justice, says Allama Raja Nasir
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has termed the Panama Papers case verdict as divine justice and a victory of Law and the Constitution.
He welcomed the historic verdict that disqualified Nawaz Sharif as Prime Minister, his son-in-law as MNA and Ishaq Dar as his Finance Minister and also as Senator of Pakistan.
MWM chief said that the bold judgment of the Supreme Court had upheld the prestige of the judiciary. He said that the entire ruling family was corrupt and was acting like monarchs demonstrating arrogance towards political opponents and ordinary citizens. He said that now they should be punished for their misdeeds because prestige and image of Pakistan was put at stake due to corruption of Nawaz Sharif family.
He said that now heirs of martyrs of Model Town massacre long for justice hence judiciary should also take notice of this case as well and try the culprits and announce verdict against the killers.
He said MWM would not accept despotism, dictatorship and autocracy in the name of democracy in Pakistan. He said MWM believes in representative democracy that truly represents people of Pakistan according to ideology of the founding fathers of Pakistan.
