MWM supports Islami Tehreek candidate in by election from Nagar 4

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Gilgit-Baltistan secretary general Allama Agha Syed Ali Rizvi has announced his party’s support to Mohammad Baqir of Islami Tehreek Pakistan in the by election to Gilgit Baltistan Legislative Assembly from Nagar 4.

“Mohammad Baqir will be our joint electoral contestant,” he said, speaking at a joint press conference in Ghilmat Nagar in the presence of Maulana Shaikh Mirza Ali, former minister Deedar Ali, and other office bearers of Islami Tehreek and MWM.
Agha Rizvi said people were demanding for unity of religio-political parties because they thought that united struggle could help sort out their problems. He said future belongs to the religio-political parties. He said electoral adjustment in Nagar 4 constituency would have positive impacts on entire Pakistan, let alone Gilgit Baltistan.
He also lambasted the PPP saying that during their tenure, their government perpetrated corruption and sold out government jobs and many people were not given jobs despite payment of bribe. He said that almost all Nagar families lost at least one of their near and dear ones who were murdered by the terrorists during the PPP government that failed to arrest the terrorists.
He asked why should people of Nagar vote for the PPP who also usurped their land in the name of Khalsa Sarkar.
