Raheel Sharif is not resigning from Saudi alliance: Govt sources claim

PMLN government sources have claimed that India was involved in propaganda that Pakistan’s ex-army chief retired General Raheel Sharif is resigning from Saudi military alliance but they claimed he neither he is resigning he is returning Pakistan.

Sources said that such baseless news are being uploaded on social media pages that are being operated from India. The sources declared that these news as Indian propaganda. They said that the purpose of the propaganda was to create misunderstandings between Pakistan and Saudi monarchy.
Sources claimed that General Raheel Sharif’s presence in Saudi Arabia would help Pakistan bring Iran and Saudi Arabia closer and Pakistan could be able to mediate between these two countries up.
It is relevant to add here that Pakistani news channel and newspaper carried the story of General Raheel’s resignation and majority of Pakistanis too want Pakistan to remain neutral and part ways with the Saudi military alliance.
