Secretary General of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (Noorani) Shah Owais Noorani has urged the Pakistan government to work for reconciliation between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

“Vague terms of references of the Saudi military alliance cast doubts on the alliance,” he said talking to a delegation led by Noor Ahmed Siyal of JUP Punjab chapter who met him in Lahore.
Shah Owais further said that the United States was hatching new plots to divide Muslim countries and pit them against each other.
He also lashed out at the aristocracy of the ruling elites while majority of people suffer due to rising cost of living, acute shortage of water and frequent power outages.
