Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen deputy secretary general Nasir Abbas Shirazi has said that the last fiscal budget presented by the PMLN government too gave no relief to people.

In his reaction to the budget, Shirazi said, budget was nothing but statistical puzzle in which people lack interest. He said that health and education were completely ignored in the budget and a meager 10 percent increase in the basic salaries of the government employees too failed to address their problems because of rising cost of living.
He said that like interior and external policies, financial policies of the PMLN government too failed to deliver. He said that industrialists and business community were unhappy with the government and local investors complained that they were not given incentives but Chinese were being preferred and being given incentives in Pakistan.
He demanded the government must take concrete steps to rid Pakistan of foreign loans and make Pakistan a viable state financially as well.
