Funeral of renowned Shia scholar Allama Ali Ghazanfar Kararvi held

Allama Ali Ghazanfar Kararvi, an eminent Shia scholar was laid to rest in Islamabad after his funeral prayer was held at Jamia Imam Sadiq (AS) yesterday.

Hujjatul Islam Sheikh Shifa Najafi led the funeral prayers in which many eminent figures attended. Pir Naubahar Shah, Hujjatul Islam Aftab Javadi, Aga Morteza Pooya, Saqib Akbar, Mir Waez Tarin also attended the funeral.
Mr. Kararvi was known as Ain Ghaen Karavi among people. He was known for his efforts aimed at establishing unity and harmony among all Muslims. Agha Morteza Pooya was one of his close friends.
Shia parties and leaders have offered condolences over sad demise of the senior scholar Allama Kararvi. They prayed God Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
