Allama Sibtain Kazmi granted 14 day judicial remand

An Islamabad court heard the police case against Allama Sibtain Kazmi after completion of his 5 day physical remand and granted his 14-day judicial remand. He was wrongly implicated in Azam Tariq murder case.

Allama Kazmi was produced in the court of Civil Judge Hafeez Ahmed amid tight security arrangements.
Many innocent Shia Muslim notables were wrongly implicated in the murder of notorious takfiri ringleader of banned outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba in Golra in 2003.
Police had been implicating many Shiites in the case and also subjected them to severe torture to force them to confess the murder but court has acquitted the tortured accused in the past.
