Shia Ulema Council Sindh chapter president Allama Nazir Hussain Taqvi has demanded of the powers that be to produce all those Shia Muslims who were taken into custody by security agencies, illegally, in the courts of law, forthwith.

He asked the Sindh Chief Minister, Sindh Governor and Director General Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) to play their due role to ensure an end to the undeclared arrest of innocent Shia Muslims.
“If you deem that they are involved in any crime, then, produce them in the courts of law for fair trial. They must be allowed legal rights. Their family members be allowed to meet them. Their lawyers be allowed to access them,” he demanded.
Allama Nazir made these demands speaking at mourning congregation on the first martyrdom anniversary of great martyr Khurram Zaki in Karachi. He paid tributes and homage to Zaki.
He demanded capital punishment to the killers of Khurram Zaki. He asked why all those named in the FIR (case) of the Khurram Zaki murder were not arrested so far. He demanded they all should be arrested and be taken to task. He lamented that the terrorists were free and innocent Shia Muslims were being put behind the bars.
